The driveway has not held up very good this winter so I thought I should put out a warning for those who may consider coming for a visit. Bring your big ass truck and/or don't drive on the road except to cross the creeks.
We've been in & out of the farm once a week or less for about 3 months now and if at all possible we try to wait till it's dry or frozen. However cattle production is a daily job sometimes requiring 3 or 4 trips in & out in a single day, rain or shine.
I am concerned that some who come to visit will have a hard time/damage vehicles or have to park by the mail box. In a couple places the ruts are definitely too deep to drive a sporty car over without dragging. We feel it needs to be fixed and that the cattle lease places that responsibility squarely on the the lessee.
What do you all think?
