Now that our lil' farm has a name and everything we've moved our online activity to our new website. This site will remain as an archive of our tumultuous first 2 & 1/2 years of growing, learning and planning. If you are interested in learning about permaculture and alternative energy and growing techniques; the INFO & VIDEO pages of this site contain a great deal of valuable links and knowledge.

How Does Your Garden Grow - early May we're trying to keep up with production but most of our time is still being spent ..."setting things up" for efficient production... we've got lettuce to take to market this weekend but don't yet know if we'll have anything for the next weekend... lots of plants still need to go in the ground and lots of seeds still need to be started and lots of blue buckets still need dirt in them. and the trellising... hopefully we'll be able to get to that job before it's too late... anyone want to meet us at the waffle hut at 5am?
we'll be off to market with 80+ heads of 5 varieties of lettuce, a few blue, dwarf and black kales, fresh oregano & sage and leftover seedlings |
